Our original No1 Alloy Avon has become a big success with anglers all over the UK and abroad but there are times when the tops of the floats can be a little too big and buoyant. This new No2 model has been developed with species like roach, dace and chub in mind and all five sizes feature long alloy stems and smaller diameter, tapered tops.
The reason for this taper is to allow the angler to shot the float well down when a bulk rig as well as a reasonable amount of sensitivity is required. The shouldered design allows the angler to hold back quite hard in strong flow.

RECOMMENDED SILICONE RUBBER
TOP – 3mm to 8mm mixed
BASE – 1mm
