These superb new rods from Drennan are a real leap forward in rod design.
Both models are exceptionally slim, high modulous carbon with a new design cross weave carbon overwrap.
The 13' Acolyte weighs just 135g is beautifully balanced and paired with a compact size reel tends to sit
up in the hand at an angle above the horizontal.

They offer excellent float and line control and at the same time the tip is soft enough to act as a shock absorber
to avoid hook pulls. Designed to be used with reel lines of 2.5lb to 4lb but due to reserves of power the breaking
strain can be increased with confidence.

The extra length of the 14' model makes it a perfect tool for stick float fishing or fishing slightly deeper water
yet offers the crispness and feel of the shorter 13' model.
